This fall, Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group in partnership with the Winchester Mystery House presents an entirely new experience, Festival Fright Nights at Winchester Mystery House. Taking place at the historical mansion in San Jose, the experience started Sept. 26 and runs through Nov. 1 with tickets starting at $54.99 on select nights.
The Winchester Mystery House will come alive this fall with Festival Fright Nights, a chilling new three-part horror event that plunges guests into the mansion’s most sinister secrets. It’s Halloween night, 1924. Two years after the death of the enigmatic Sarah Winchester, her sprawling estate, Llanada Villa, has stood silent with its mysteries locked away behind winding corridors and sealed doors. Now, under new mysterious ownership, the mansion reopens for a grand Halloween Masquerade Ball. The evening’s charismatic host, Lord Gideon Gray, promises an unforgettable night of glamour, music, and startling revelations. Claiming to have unlocked a spiritual portal that can reveal why Sarah built her endless maze of rooms, Gray invites guests to step inside but what has been summoned may not be willing to leave.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with the Winchester Mystery House, a place steeped in paranormal activity,” said Ashley Hill, General Manager at Festival Fright Nights. “With Festival Fright Nights, Thirteenth Floor is bringing the mansion’s history and legend to life in an entirely new way, transforming its haunted halls into a stage where guests step directly into its secrets and spirit.”
This all-new event will debut three main haunted attractions, theatrical experiences, themed food, and beverage offerings with new paths and access to never-before-used spaces, creating an unforgettable evening of immersive entertainment. In The Masquerade of Shadows, a lavish ball hosted by Lord Gideon Gray spirals into supernatural terror when an ancient portal unleashes vengeful spirits. The nightmare deepens in The Root of All Evil, where the mansion’s gardens turn deadly, vines writhe, luminous fruit hides sinister powers, and unseen eyes stalk from the trees. The journey ends with The Final Descent, a forbidden wing where seances rip open the veil, Sara’s lingering shadow haunts the halls, and the basement becomes a battleground between the living and the dead.

Guests can enjoy a mix of thrilling add-ons, including axe throwing, hidden speakeasies, and immersive experiences like:
- The Maestro’s Masquerade Ball (VIP Admission Only) – A gilded invitation to the deadliest Halloween party of 1924 has arrived and your early arrival is requested. With your very own masquerade mask and welcome cocktail in hand, step through the opulent front doors to explore Llanada Villa’s front rooms in style. It’s the Maestro’s party, and you’ll die if he wants you to.

Magic collides with the supernatural in this intimate demonstration of staged paranormal trickery, leaving even skeptics to wonder if the dead still speak.
