I am enthusiastically voting for my former teacher Dominic Caserta to the Santa Clara City Council because I know him on a professional and personal level. As my teacher, Dominic empowered his students to reach for the stars, empowering me, as a female, to go into the dominated male profession of engineering. Dominic passionately supports the advancement of women and puts it into action by boosting our confidence and self-esteem in his classroom. Additionally, Dominic gives his students life lessons that encourage character development. Dominic is kind-hearted leader who genuinely cares about well-being of others. Dominic is open minded and respects others’ viewpoints. Dominic truly listens. He supports people through tough times and he is always there to listen to you.
